Appointments

blood_pressure4Consultations are by appointment, to book an appointment please phone the surgery or call in at reception. If you are unsure who to book with the receptionist should be able to advise whether a nurse or doctor appointment is most suitable. If you wish to book with your usual doctor you will generally be able to get an appointment within two days but during holiday times you may have to wait longer or see a different doctor.

If you need to see a doctor urgently you may come to the emergency surgery between 9am-11am, and the duty doctor for the day will be able to see you. Please do not expect to see your own doctor as they may already be fully booked for the day. Please make a routine appointment if the matter is not a medical emergency.

Keeping Appointments

If you are unable to keep an appointment please let us know as soon as possible. If you are late for an appointment you will be asked to make another appointment or be seen at the discretion of the doctor if necessary. The Practice has a policy for non-attendance of appointments which can result in patients being removed from the list. Please cancel in advance if you cannot attend a booked appointment so we can offer the appointment to another patient.
